A future gift for my artist Nephew
Front:
Notebook slips into the covers front flap. Gives you something hard to draw on, easy to place on your lap and create.
Inside holds pencils or pens.
Back flap stores the notebook when it’s not in use.
Ring binder with page protectors stores your artwork when you are done.
I wish i sewed this better, I'm a perfectionist. I’ll see what hubby thinks. Outside looks nice but inside isn’t so nice o.0

- My Husband’s Project:
This is the dresser with the first coat of light green:
After he painted the dress with the light green he brushed a dark stain over the entire thing. Then immediately he rubbed it off with a rag.

- My Project:
So i found an ugly photo album for $5. Bought fabric for $2, and the rest of the supplies i had on hand.
Ok i had originally covered this photo album with material by use a hot melt glue gun… and it looked like crap and i was so annoyed. Then i got an idea that made me feel stupid. Why did i not sew a cover? Yah… I'm not to smart for not coming up with that in the first place!
So today i finally got it done!
The pages i designed myself using digital scrapbook images and some creativity. I really like how it turned out

Today i also taped off our living room to prime. I had wanted to paint today but my hubby thought it would be best to tape everything off, get all the nails out of the wall and wait to paint until tomorrow. So i listened to him. Kind of surprising he is the one to tell me to take it slow because usually it is the other way around.
